Let's Talk Digestive Support!

Updated: Feb 4, 2022

  1. Before you begin eating, take time for gratitude! When you take the time to pause and reflect whether, with a blessing or gratitude, the cephalic phase of digestion is activated. The release of saliva is signaled by the brain and sets those digestive enzymes ablaze- both needed for proper digestion.

  2. CHEW YOUR FOOD! Thoroughly chewing helps your food to digest. We complicate the task of digestion when eating on the run and scoffing our food. Slow down, savor the flavor, and chew it up. Allow those enzymes to work properly! - Dr. D
